St. Helena’s Badge of 1939 is centrally placed on the right side segment of the flag. The badge of St. Helena on the St. Helena Dependencies Flag is made up of three-flagpole ship seafaring near the pedestal of sharp rocky crags.

Because Saint Helena is an out-of-the-country colony of Britain, the British Union Jack indicates St. Helena’s association with Britain.
