Southwest Florida Museum of History is located in Lee County. Some of the exhibits which can be seen here are include period antique, decorative arts, a 1926 La France fire pumper, boating and fishing industries and a 1929 private Pullman rail car among other things.

Florida Museum of Science and History is located in Jacksonville. The main attractions here are the allosaurus dinosaurs. This museum is open on all days, except for major holidays.

South Florida Railway Museum is located at Deerfield Beach Seaboard Air Line Railway Station. Main exhibits in the museum include three layout for operating model train, showing three different times and places. Apart from this there is an extensive collection of locomotive models, tools, literature, apparel, bells, whistles etc.
