Where is Guam?
Located in the western Pacific Ocean, Guam is an unincorporated territory of the United States. It is one of the five American territories with an independent civilian government. Guam is the southernmost of the Mariana Islands, the 32nd largest US island, and the largest island in Micronesia. The island covers an area of 210 square miles and is 30 miles long and 4 to 12 miles wide. Hagatna is the capital of Guam, while Dededo is the most populous city. The highest point on the island is Mount Lamlam, at 406 meters above sea level.

The island can be divided into three regions –

Northern Region is a relatively flat plateau, including two towns (Dedeo and Yigo) and a US Air Force Base.

Central Region is quite metropolitan as the capital Hagåtña is located here.

Southern Region is a rural kaleidoscope featuring a volcanic mountain range, rolling green hills, and sleepy villages. Take the plentiful hiking trails leading to Upper and Lower Sigua Falls or interact with locals to make a variety of crafts.
