Some of the region of Cameroon falls under the domain of the rain forest. Cameroon Vegetation can mainly be observed in the Mount Cameroon area. The variety of vegetation that can be found in Cameroon is unbelievable. Cameroon posses most of the plants that can be seen in the rain forest. Tropical wood are one of the primary export material of Cameron.
Cameroon Vegetation includes several crops such as coffee, cotton, cocoa, oilseed, root starches, rubber and grains. At the same time you will find banana plantation, palm plantation, heveas, pepper plantation etc. You can find a number of beautiful flowers like Red Bougainvillea, White Bougainvillea
salmon colored Bougainvillea, Ornamental sago Palm, Dahlia, Blushing double Hibiscus, Calliandra-powderpuff, Calliandra Surinamensis, Heliconia, Calla Lily, Gloriosa Lily in Orange, Gloriosa Lily etc.
Primary natural vegetation of Cameroon can be seen in the Bali Ngemba Forest Reserve. On the other hand the remaining patch of montane forest can be found around the Mt Oku in Kilum-Ijim area. Some of the rare species of plants are endemic to Cameroon. The rich vegetation in Cameroon is a major source of the country's economy as well.
