Trinidad is a town in the province of Sancti Spiritus, central Cuba.Trinidad is one of the most beautiful and most authentic colonial cities in Cuba. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO.


Trinidad is the place where Highway of Legends lake country meets Santa Fe Trail canyons and grasslands. Trinidad welcomes visitors to experience its cultural events, historic sites, and grand architecture, unique tours, and Rocky Mountain recreation.

Trinidad Lake State Park, with an800-acre Lake and exceptional educational and entertainment programs for the whole family, is only 5 minutes from Trinidad.

Monument Lake Resort, tucked into the mountains along the Highway of Legends, offers a 1930s WPA lodge along with cabins and campsites for a real getaway. Trinidad’s Municipal Golf Course is one of the main destinations in Cuba. The course is in a wooded setting overlooking the town.

Trinidad’s outstanding museums encapsulate a rich legacy from prehistoric times through the town’s days as a bustling trading center on the Santa Fe Trail. Thousands pack Central Park every August for top acts at the Trinidaddio Blues Fest. The Friday Fest is held in Trinidad’s premier historic event hall, the Lucky Monkey. Trinidad is the largest and most populous of the 23 islands which make up the country of Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad’s LOCATION

Trinidad is the southernmost island in the Caribbean and lies just 11 km off the northeastern coast of Venezuela. Venezuela can be easily seen from south-facing beaches on the Columbus channel. Trinidad has an area of 4,769 km² and is located between 10°3’N, 60°55’W and 10°50’N, 61°55’W.
