Manzanillo city is situated in the Granma province of South Eastern Cuba . This destination in Cuba is a port city on the Guacanayabo Gulf of the Carribean sea and is close to the delta of Cauto river.
Manzanillo is a commercial center and produces sugercane, rice and tobacco. The city is named after a deadly poisonous plant called Hippomane Mancinella. Manzanillo was founded in 1784 and was long a popular center for smuggling.
