INTRODUCTION
The map of Albania portrays a mountainous country in which about 70% of the land lies above 300 m. Today Albania, a parliamentary democracy is slowly treading its way up the economy ladder after witnessing economic and political upheavals following the collapse of "Pyramid Schemes" in 1997. Though its per capital income is among the lowest in Europe, the country has to an extent recovered the 1997 set back. Now, it is on the road of transforming its economy into a market-oriented system.
Location of Albania
Albania is located in southeastern Europe which borders the Adriatic Sea and Ionian Sea, between Greece and Serbia and Montenegro. If one looks at the terrain of Albania, the land boundaries total to 720 kilometers where 282 kilometers borders with Greece; 151 kilometers border with former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia; 114 kilometers border with Serbia; 173 kilometers border with Montengro. The coastline works to 362 kilometers.

Physical Map of Albania
The physical map of Albania shows coastal plain which is a little over 20 percent, out of which some of it is poorly drained. Other parts consist of mainly hills and mountains, which are often covered with scrub forest. The only navigable river is the Bunė.
Climate Map of Albania
The climate of Albania is mainly mild and temperate. The winters are usually cool, cloudy and wet while the summers are hot, clear and dry. The interior of Albania is cooler and wetter.
Flora And Fauna
Around 40% of Albania is covered with forests infested with oak, pine, beech, birch and elm trees. The vegetation along the coast is Mediterranean in nature and consists of oleander and laurel trees and other characteristic plants.
Eagles, wolves, deer and wild boars make up for the fauna and are usually found in the deeper areas of Albania forests. A variety of birds can also be spotted along the lakes of Albania.
