In 1990 the volume of natural gas reserves was recorded to be 116 Gm3. Whenever it comes to the record of Brazil Natural Resources, the reserves of coal in Brazil cannot be overlooked. The 1988 recorded coal reserves was 1,245 Tg. Water is one of the Brazil Natural resources which you can find abundantly through the swift flowing rivers. There are a big number of rivers flowing through Brazil and the current of the flowing river water contributes to the generation of electricity. Thanks to the river current that capacity of electricity in Brazil was recorded as 49 GW in 1988.
