Hungary is placed along the Carpathian Basin near the province of Middle-Europe. The country seems to widen relatively 268 km in the North-South direction while 526 km along the East-West direction.

The Hungarian population is mainly constituted with Magyars, Finno-Ugric and Turkish clan who intermingled with the Slavic group of people. The country is constituted with chief ethnic groups like:

The economy of Hungary was quite dependable on the sectors of agriculture and small-scale manufacturing units just before the World War II period. Hungary is strategically located in Europe where the region mainly depends on the enduring foreign trade due to the lack of natural resources within the province.

It was during the beginning of 1950, the communist government brought about lot of additions within the industrial sector of the region thereby making the province self-reliant. But it was during the year 1968; a new policy was issued where Hungary was opened to the foreign trade market with restricted functioning of small businesses.

It was during the year 1990-94 there was a change in the market policy where price and trade was issued freely along with a refurbished tax systems and a promising banking system.

But during the year 1994, with the slash in the consumer grant, extravagance spending took place in the government due to which there was a raise in the price factors of commodities, food, transport and energy. Due to which there was a major setback in the export made to the Soviet Bloc along with the decline in the trading output. By March 1995, the government undertook aggressive policies to privatize state owned enterprises and an exchange raw regime was led for encouraging export from the country that reduced the in debt and deficits, the country was going through.

Presently the economy benefits from the borrowing conditions, its self-governing overseas monetary exchange, and other major benefits. The country gains its revenue mainly from the private sector, and the rest from the foreign owners, financial organization, industry, telecommunication and trading regions. Now the government concentrates more on fully supported pensions, higher education, and the formation of the national treasury.
