The city of Joensuu Finland was founded in the year 1848 by Tsar Nicholas I of Russia. Joensuu Finland is an important place and also the capital of the region of North Karelia. Few international flights pay frequent visits to Helsinki,from where Joensuu can be easily reached either by train or by plane. It takes an hour to reach Joensuu by flight and around five to six hours by railways.
