The story of

seven continents of the world

  began long long ago. We often come across a word "Pangaea", do you know what panagea is? Tectonic movement caused Pangaea to break away. The broken landmasses slowly drifted away undergoing drastic transformations before assuming their present form. This entire process took around one million years to complete.

It is hypothesized that within the next 250 million years, all the earths landmasses would merge in a single supercontinent and this configuration would be named as Pangaea Proxima or Pangae Ultima. The
