Formerly known with the name of Piertersburg, Polokwane is the capital city of Limpopo Province of South Africa. The city lies in the north of the country that is between Pretoria and Zimbabwe.
How to Reach
Johannesburg International Airport is the nearest international airport from where you need to take your further journey either by road or domestic flight. The city has an International Airport i.e. Polokwane International Airport; however, the flight is scheduled through the Johannesburg. Besides, the city is well linked with the roadways i.e. N1, which connects it with the cities Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town.

Besides, Polokwane Nature Reserve is a big nature park of about 3,200 hectares with plenty of game and rich birdlife. About 9 kilometers south of the town, there is Bakone Malapa Open-Air Museum.
