The largest city in Texas and the fourth largest in the United States by population, Houston is a major US city. It has an estimated population of 2.1 million, though the metropolitan area has over 6 million, making it the fifth largest metro area in the country. Houston is located in the southeastern part of Texas, not far from the Gulf of Mexico.
San Antonio
San Antonio is the second most populous city in Texas, as well as the seventh most populous in the United States, and has been ranked one of the fastest growing cities in the country. San Antonio is located in south-central Texas, not far from the capital, Austin.
Dallas
The third largest city in Texas, Dallas is one of the major cities in Texas. Combined with nearby Fort Worth, the metropolitan area is the fourth largest in the country. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is the fourth largest in the world.
El Paso
At the extreme western point of Texas, El Paso is situated just across the Mexican border from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. El Paso is the sixth largest city in Texas.
