King Faisal University has two campuses one in Dammam and the other in Hofuf (Al Ahsa ) in Saudi Arabia. King Faisal University in Al Ahsa was established in the year 1975. It was King Faisal who initiated the idea of establishment. The university was set up under the guidance of prince Fahd.
The Hofuf campus in Al Hasa has an alumni office, recreational centers, health services, symposiums and conference rooms. The faculties include Animal Resources, Veterinary medicine and Agriculture. Faisal University at Al Hasa gives preference to the female students pursuing courses in medicine, dentistry and home economics.
King Faisal University in Al Ahsa aims at imparting modern educational methods to the learners. The studies are also developed in a way as to help fulfill local environmental needs.
College of Clinical Pharmacy, Al Ahsa
The College of Clinical Pharmacy functions under King Faisal University, Al Ahsa. The college awards doctoral degree to the research students. After receiving the Doctor of Pharmacy degree, the person can work in hospitals and clinics as a pharmacist.
