Qatar Masters is a tournament on Golf which is held in the Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. The establishment of Qatar Masters took place in the year 1998 to promote the game of golf in Doha. This tournament is one among the three European Tournaments which are held in the countries of the Persian Gulf. This tournament was co sanctioned by the Asian Tour in the year 2005.Golf in Doha is encouraged very much by the government in Qatar.
The prize money offered in the Qatar Masters tournament amounts to be 1.1 million Euros. Every year the world's top most golfers participate in this tournament. This desert championship has the course measuring 7,374 yards.
