Malta is home to three major Airlines, which connects Malta to the rest of the world. Airport enquiries, Malta enables tourists to acquire information about the flight schedule. The Malta International Airport or the Luqa Airport is the largest airport of this island. Flights from British Airways, Lufthansa, Condor, Emirates, Finnair and Austria arrive at this airport. It commenced working on 1st January 1992.
It is a member of the Airport Council International - Europe. According to the new regulations of EU regarding the security matters in the airport, liquids have been partially banned in hand luggage. - The Gozo Airport is another airport in Malta. This is a domestic airport with flights scheduled from and to Malta. This airport is not associated with any other international airport. Flights are available only for traveling to the other islands.
- Heliport is yet another domestic airport located in Comino. The longitudinal measurement of the heliport is 14.333333(East 14"19'59").
