With the course of time, without being merely a historic town, Zebbug in Malta has also become a place of festivals. Presently it is has gained world-wide fame for its splendid fiestas that are devoted to the Patron Saint St. Philip of Agira and to St. Joseph, a secondary feast.
Besides this, in both the urban and rural areas of Zebbug at Malta, one can find a number of chapels. The main attraction among them is said to be the 18th century Parish Church of the Assumption. Though the shopping facilities here are limited, yet no one has to face any difficulty to find his basic necessities.
On the month of August this place mainly becomes more lively and vibrant as on August 24th the Feast of St. Mary takes place.
