Situated in the Eastern Europe, the Tiraspol, Moldova is the second biggest city of the country. This beautiful city is situated on the banks of the River Dniester. Founded by "Alexander Suvorov, a Russian general this city came in to being in the year, 1792. The Tiraspol city is the capital as well as administrative centre of the autonomous "Pridnestrovian Moldovian Republic" which has gained global recognition over the years. The city name was derived from the two words "tiras" Greek name for river Dniester and "polis" meaning "city"

Balti is among the five municipalities of Moldova. Presently, the Balti city has a population of about 158,069. In the year 1989, the city had a population of 190,000 but over the years there has been a huge decrease in the growth rate of the populace. The city consists of many ethnic groups like Ukrainians, Russians and Moldovians.
