Al Wakrah is a province and also a city of Qatar. At the eastern side of the city of Al Wakrah there is the Persian Gulf. It is bordered by four provinces in the land area. They are:
Ar Rayyan in the north western side
Ad Dawhah in the north western side
Mesaieed in the south eastern side
Jariyan al Batnah in the west and southern side.
The population of the city of Al Wakrah as recorded in the year 2004 was 31,009 people and the distribution of population density as per statistics is 40 square kilometer. The area of the city is 777 square kilometers. The geographical limits of the city of the Al Wakrah are 25.18 degrees North latitude and 51.61 degrees east longitude.
