Iceland Volcanic Eruption: A cause of Mayhem across the Globe
The volcanic eruption at the Eyjafjallajokull, located beside Eyjafjallajokull glacier in the southern Iceland, spreads molten lava on the ground and throws ash into the air. The abundance of ash into the air has created dark cloud that covers large area of North Atlantic Ocean and Western Europe.
However, due to paucity of casualty, scientists said - it is peaceful.
By virtue of having the location on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Iceland is one of the most volcanic active zones; this is the reason that it has been keep on experiencing volcanic eruptions frequently. However, the volcanic eruption occurred on last Saturday (8 p.m. EDT) is fissure volcanic eruption rather than being a central vent volcanic eruption type; therefore, it is not much dangerous.
