Serbia Education

The Serbia education has made it possible to have more than half of the population literate. Serbia was known as Yugoslavia primarily. At that time only, the country participated in many international programs like NGO meetings and meetings with other interested social service organizations. The country's population was not so literate at that period. The NGO's introduced the education to the society of the country.

Education in Serbia was also introduced for another purpose that is peace, democratic society and independent individuals. Serbia, now is successful in achieving their goal as 70% of the population is literate. During all these years since the period when education had been introduced till now, the population is growing and developing in all manner.

The Serbian educational institutes have eased the average population of the country by providing them free education. The step was mainly taken by the government institutes so that all kinds of people can avail the educational facility.

There are many primary and secondary educational institutes that offer teachings to the minors as well as there are such institutes who teach the illiterate adults. This has made the Serbian society in developing and rapid upbringing in the standard of living of the people as the education provided the people to get various kinds of jobs.
