Visitors have a wide choice of Gibraltar beaches. There are 5 beaches: Catalan Bay, Eastern Beach, Sandy Bay, Camp Bay and Little Bay. The largest beach in Gibraltar is the Eastern beach. The advantage of pursuing waterside activities in Eastern beach is the extended daylight hours. The Sandy Bay is a beach situated on the southern side of the territory. The beach is favored by locals. The Catalan Bay has a quaint fishing village. There are a couple of excellent restaurants on the beach.
