Autumn spans from September to November, while spring runs from March to May.
Monsoons in Nepal commence from the end of June and continue till mid-September. The country gets maximum rainfall during this period, while rest of the time, the climate in Nepal remains dry. Winters in Nepal are extremely chilly for the Himalayas. Temperatures drip down to almost -40ºC in some places and there is heavy snowfall too. This is usually found in the mountains of Nepal.
