Namibia History

Namibia History went through a number of phases. However, the recorded history of Namibia is available only after the advent of Europeans in the country. The country of Namibia was colonized by the Germans in the 20th century. The League of Nations took over the administration after World War I and it again changed after the Second World War. The United Nations made it a part of South Africa by a mandate. The country ultimately achieved independence in 1990.

Namibia Geography, concentrating around the location, the climatic conditions, the time zone and the flora and fauna, gives comprehensive information about the country. The geography of Namibia is dominated by the desert regions. The main rivers flow along the borders of the country.
