Cherokee National Forest

Cherokee National Forest covers an area of 655,598 acres (2653.11 km2) and is maintained and managed by the United States Forest Service.

The headquarters of Cherokee National Forest is situated in Cleveland, Tennessee. Great Smoky Mountains National Park divides the Cherokee National Forest into two sections that are Northern and Southern Sections. The Northern Section lies to the northeast of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Southern Section lies to the southwest of smokies.
