Arena de São Paulo : 
The Arena de Sao Paulo stadium is located in one of the most important business and financial hubs of Brazil, Sao Paulo, and will host the opening match of FIFA World Cup 2014. There will be 5 other matches played here including a semi-final. This stadium is still under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the first half of 2014. It has a capacity of 48,234 seats.
Interestingly, there will be 20,000 removable seats that will be installed in the stadium. After FIFA World Cup 2014, all these removable seats will be removed. R$820 million is the total estimated construction cost. One of the interesting facts about this construction is that it will provide employment to around 6,000 people, either directly or indirectly. This stadium belongs to one of the three famous clubs of this place, Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. This is the only club that didn’t have a home stadium earlier.

The two busiest airports of South America are based in Sao Paulo and they are Andre Franco Montoro Airport (Cumbica or Guarulhos Airport) and Congonhas.

Some of the must-visit places here are Sao Paulo Museum of Art, Musea Paulista, Hopi Hari, Theatro Municipal, Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo, Pico do Jaragua, etc.

Arena de Sao Paulo is located 19 kms away from the City Center. The nearest subway station is just 500 m away from it. The nearest railway station is only a walking distance away. The best way of transport here are the trains. There are 61 bus routes around the stadium.

World Cup Matches at Arena de São Paulo : 
Six matches of 2014 Football World Cup will be hosted here :
