• Canada – 13,123 MW
• Ukraine – 13,107 MW
• United Kingdom – 8,907 MW

Nuclear power capacity refers to the total amount of electricity that can be produced by a country’s nuclear power plants. While nuclear power is a source of low-carbon energy, it also presents unique challenges related to safety, waste disposal, and non-proliferation. As such, many countries are pursuing alternative forms of renewable energy to meet their energy needs while also mitigating climate change. Nuclear Power is one of the largest resources of energy very useful in the generation of nuclear electricity.
