Art or military museums and picturesque valleys, flea markets and specialty shops all are available in Kyrgyzstan and form a part of its appeal as Kyrgyzstan attractions. The hot springs of Djalal-Abad are supposed to be highly curative in value, even lepers are said to benefit according to legend. The Golden Spa, of Altyn Arashan is again a major attraction to people interested in trying alternative medical processes.
Arslanbob, the village near the huge, sacred wild walnut forest of the same name draws visitors with two magnificent waterfalls along with unparalleled scenic beauty. Lenin Peak Kyrgyzstan, the third highest peak in the former Soviet Union is also a major draw in Kyrgyzstan. Irkeshtam Pass also draws a huge number of tourists. Tash Rabat, the medieval fortress cum caravan serai is a top draw for those interested in history, as is the flea market of Osh Bazaar. But the religious significance and enlivening beauty of the Issyk-Kul Lake are nonetheless exciting prospects in Kyrgyzstan.
