The city of Sydney houses two most important landmarks of the country, Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Sydney Harbor Bridge is built around the center point on the Sydney Harbor joining the Central Business District and the North Shore. It is a passage for trains,vehicles and pedestrians. The Guiness Book of World records calls it as the “widest of the long span bridges in the world”. The 75 year old bridge, with its top bearing an arch design, is also the world's “largest Steel Arch Bridge”

Sydney Harbor is the world's largest natural harbor on the Pacific Ocean. Together with the bridge and the opera it is often used as the image of Australia. Port Jackson is built around the harbor in Sydney , the reason why it is also called the Harbor City.

Sydney Airpor t or Kingsford Smith International airport is situated in the suburb of the city itself. It is a major airport linking Sydney to the rest of the world. The airport is linked through road and underground railway to the city of Sydney. It is also the world's oldest commercial airport that has been operated continually.
