World Map showing the International Date Line
The International Date Line, is an imaginary line running from the North pole to the South pole, corresponding its length to the 180th meridian on the surface of the earth. It demarcates two consecutive calendar days, resulting in the Eastern side of the line ahead by one day and the western side lagging behind by a day.
