Mauritania Prime Minister




Mauritania has a parliamentary system of government whereby the Prime Minister is the senior most member of the cabinet in the executive branch of government.
The Mauritanian Prime Minister, along with the government of Mauritania has an important role to play in the economy of the country like poverty reduction, privatization, reformation in the banking sector, liberalization in the exchange rate and the reduction of trade barriers in order to ensure economic growth.
