Laos Prime Minister is the head of government. The office of the
Prime Minister of Laos has got many responsibilities. Various issues related to the government have to be addressed by the Prime Minister. Administration and state management in the country comes under his duty.
The office of the
Prime Minister in Laos has to undertake the following duties
- His office looks after the progress of the government, ministers, sectors and local administrations and also makes policies, provide information.
- The advantage or disadvantage of the existing law is presented to the Cabinet by this office.
- To create favorable situation for both domestic and foreign in the field of social and economic progress.
- Political and Ideological affairs must be supervised by the office. To modify the working process in the Prime Minister's office is its soul responsibility.
- Prime Minister's order, resolution should be executed by them.
- Civil Aviation and airlines companies are also studied and managed by it.
- To plan, guide and supervise public activities including sport.
- To coordinate with various local administration and government agencies.
- Studying the draft state policies on personnel administration and management comes under their duty.
- To participate in the Cabinet meeting and prepare reports and documents for the Prime Minister.
- To carry out cartographic measurement, survey and aerial photography to support the socio-economic plans.
