Vintage Cars at Display at Autoworld Museum, Brussels

A visit to Autoworld Museum in Brussels will present you with a display of more than 400 cars developed down the ages of the automobile history up to 1970. The cars at Autoworld  come mainly from the collections of Ghislain Mahy and Charly De Pauw.

Located at Cinquantenaire Parc, Autoworld is well connected with the entire city. A visit at the museum is a dream come true for all those with an intention of sitting behind the wheels and racing at the Formula-1 Grand Prix. A huge collection of cars ranging from the very earliest of times are on display. In the Belgian section, models like Minerva, FN, Imperia, Germain, Vivnus, Nagant, which were introduced in the era before the Second World War, still ring their bells or blow their horns much to the delight of the car lovers.

There is also a section where models from different European countries like Italy, Germany, France, the United States and the UK are put up for exhibition. Some rare models like the Bentley, the Bugatti and the Cord have also found a place in the museum.

The cars owned by celebrities like President Roosevelt, President John F. Kennedy are placed in the museum for display. The model owned by the Belgian Royal Family stands proudly before the viewers exhibiting its grandeur.

Autoworld also has a section allocated for organizing social functions and businesses. The meeting rooms at the Autoworld in Brussels are much sought after by corporate houses for organizing various events. The infrastructure provided here is quite advanced and updated to suit all modern needs and requirements. Hence, the museum is not merely meant for car displays but is also used as a venue for hosting various social and commercial events.

Autoworld also houses a small boutique that remains open only during visiting hours. It sells a wide range of accessories, reference books and miniature cars of different models and is a source of great delight to visitors of all age groups. The restaurant inside the museum offers the choicest menu of delectable dishes of the day for visitors

Autoworld is open to visitors from 10.00 am till 6.00 pm during April and September. However, it closes down early at 5.00 pm during the winter months. A nominal fee is charged for each visitor. Group booking is also given at discounted rates. The entry fee is different for children between 6 and 13 years.
