Boat
You may also choose to travel to Kenya by boat from Tanzania. The cruise would reach Kisumu from Mwanza in Tanzania.

Bus and Car
Kenya is well connected with its neighboring countries by road. It is also possible to reach Kenya from countries like Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Somalia by car or bus. Train

Planes

Bus

Matatu
You also have the option of matatu, which is a minibus having seating arrangements for about 14 passengers. These buses usually run for short or medium distances. Earlier, the matatu carried more passengers than the number of seats available. Due to strict government action, that practice has been stopped. Train
The Lunatic Express starts from Mombasa and ends its journey at Kampala, Uganda. In between it covers Nairobi.

Cars
Cars in Kenya can be hired on a rental basis. Jeeps or large cars would make the trip highly convenient. Central car hire offers quite comfortable cars on hire.
