Uinta county, an annexed portion of Idaho and Utah, was established in this period. The county extends from Montana (including Yellowstone Park) to the Wyoming-Utah boundary. On July 10, 1890,  Wyoming state was admitted to the Union as the 44th state with 13 counties. After the statehood of Wyoming, ten more counties were created.
