Sprawling along the bank of the Hudson River, Albany is the capital of the state of New York. The city lies roughly 150 miles north of New York City. A major anchor of Tech Valley, it is the focal city of the Capital District, the third most populous metropolitan region in the state.

How to Reach Albany

Albany International Airport (ALB), 11 miles from the city center, is served by American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, and United Express.

Albany–Rensselaer Amtrak station is a stop on Adirondack, Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Maple Leaf, and Lake Shore Limited routes.
