The other varieties include low lying plants, mosses, vines and ferns. The fauna of Venezuela include snakes, jaguars, armadillos, snakes, crocodiles, monkeys. The marine life around Venezuela is pretty thriving too. Insects too abound in Venezuela.

Arts, Culture and Music of Venezuela : the people of Venezuela are mostly Christians. The music that Venezuela is renowned for is the 'Gaita'. Also the 'llanero' is pretty famous. The two dance forms of repute in Venezuela are 'Salsa' and 'Merengue'.

Flag of Venezuela the flag that Venezuela now uses is simple and uncluttered in design.It comprises of three horizontal stripes of the colors yellow, blue and red. The central blue stripe houses a semi-circular arc of seven stars.

There is a coat of arms in the top left hand corner of the flag. The seven stars in white represent the seven different provinces which supported the revolution. The blue color commemorates Venezuelan freedom from Spain and red stands for courage.


Economy of Venezuela : the economy of Venezuela is largely supported by its natural resources. Tourism too provides a major boost. The natural beauty is mesmerizing enough to bring in visitors again and again. The main contributors among the natural resources are petroleum, natural gas, iron ore, gold, bauxite, hydropower, diamonds and other minerals.
