If getting married is not an overwhelming idea in itself one could choose to go to the Niagara Falls to be awed by Nature’s display of her strength. A Niagara Falls honeymoon is a perfect one for adventure seeking couples.

The Niagara falls are comprised of three falls, which are the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls are a part of Canada and the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls are a part of the State of New York, USA. To be at the Falls, watching the raging waters, and hearing stories of human engagement with the same is an experience which has to be lived. At the Niagara Falls one can watch the Niagara Escarpment which is a natural wall separating Lake Ontario from Lake Erie.

A Niagara Falls honeymoon means standing near the bottom of the falls, in a cave, with your beloved and being enveloped in a spray of misty water rising from the bottom. One can take a boat to have a closer view of the Falls, popularized as ‘Maid of Mist’ cruises.

If this is not thrilling enough then fly over the river in a whirlpool aero car. Couples can also take walking tours of the area to discover more about its natural heritage.

Apart from the Falls themselves one can also visit the Skylon Tower, which allows a panoramic view of both the Canadian and American Falls, or visit the Centennial Lilac Garden, Niagara Falls Aviary, and other places offering areas of natural conservation and beauty.

A Niagara Falls honeymoon trip could include golfing, visiting casinos and dining and staying at luxurious hotels.

One can easily go between Canada and USA, with minimal paperwork, if one is a US citizen. For the rest permission can be sought from the concerned authorities.

A Niagara Falls honeymoon is a honeymoon trip that promises to be filled with adventure.
