The tourists find it interesting going to the shopping centers for entertainment at Uruguay. Large number of shops is located in the Old Town area of Uruguay selling varieties of leather products, antique pieces, jackets, gem jewelries and many more. The shops are open from 9 am to 12 noon and again from 2 pm to 7 pm. On Saturdays they are open from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
From the months of March to January, a number of concerts on theater and ballet take place in Uruguay. The dance club of Teatro Solis opens after 10 pm. Here ballet, opera and symphonies take place. People entertain themselves by going to the discos that are found in the area of Carrasco.
There are a large number of restaurants in the capital city of Montevideo. Some of them are the Restaurant Dackel, Restaurant Tandory, Ristorante Panini, Don Tiburon, Las Brasas and so on. Most of the Uruguayan restaurants are parrilladas or grill-rooms.
