- Football: Football is one of the United Arab Emirates sports. It is not only loved and played in United Arab Emirates, but is also played worldwide. Among the United Arab Emirates stadiums, The Sheikh Zayed stadium is used for hosting football and cricket tournaments.
- Camel Racing: Camel racing is a traditional sport of United Arab Emirates. This unique sport is an inherent part of the United Arab Emirates heritage. This sport usually takes place in the winter season in the morning on the weekends, attracting a good crowd.
- Horse Racing: It is another familiar sport practiced among the inhabitants of United Arab Emirates. Dubai, one of the seven emirates also hosts Dubai World Cup horse race, which is considered as the richest horse race in the world.
- Cricket: Cricket is a favorite sport of the Sharjah emirate and the United Arab Emirates stadiums have been proudly hosting international cricket tournaments since their inception.
- Golf: Over the years golf has become familiar among the UAE inhabitants. In contemporary times it is counted among the UAE sports. Dubai annually hosts the Dubai Desert Classic, an European Tour Event held in the month of March and golfers of worldwide fame participate to compete against each other. The prize money offered is US$1 million.
