Serbia Weather

The Serbia Weather is diversified and is different in different places. In the north the climate is continental, which has well distributed rainfall but humid summers. The winters are extremely cold and arid.

The central part of the country has a mixture of both continental climate and Mediterranean climate. The southern part of the of the country has a brush of Adriatic climate, especially with the Adriatic sea in the south. The Adriatic climate has hot and dry summers. The autumns have similar climatic condition, whereas the winters are comparatively cold, with heavy rainfall. An overall Serbia Weather has equally distributed rainfall throughout the year.

With a latitude of 44 degree north and longitude of 21 degree East, the weather of Serbia is mixed and so is the vegetation. The Serbia Weather is also effected by the rugged hilly stretch of the Dinaric Alps, which pass through the country.
The hills trap the moisture laden winds and bring rains. Similarly, the rivers and the situation of the sea are effective in bringing rainfall. The cooler Adriatic sea breeze i.e the cooler air above the sea and the rivers replace the hot air above the land, especially during the summer. As a result of which there is rainfall.

The prominent rivers in the country of Serbia, which are effective in changing condition of Serbia weather are Danube, Drina, Lim, Morava, Sava and Tara, all add to the reason behind the varied climate and Serbia Weather.
