Kyrgyzstan Sports is the chief source of entertainment for the people of country. The traditional Sports in Kyrgyzstan are horse racing and falconry. Other then the regular horse rides, tennis, martial arts, athletics and football also played in Kyrgyzstan. Buzkashi
Buzkashi is the traditional Kyrgyzstan Spots that is played on horseback. According to the rules of the game, while riding a horse, the riders need to grab a calf or a goat from the ground. The player then gets past the others and pitches the carcasses into a target circle or goal line. It is the national game of the country and people are very passionate about the game.
Tennis in Kyrgyzstan
There are two teams in Kyrgyzstan Tennis federation- The Kyrgyzstan Fed Cup and the Kyrgyzstan Davis cup. The two Kyrgyz teams before 1993 represented the Soviet Union. In 2003, the country had competed in Fed Cup and in 2002 in Davis Cup in 2002. In 2003 Kyrgyzstan achieved its first major success when it registered seventh place in Group III match of Davis cup.
Kyrgyzstan Sports is integral part of the entertainment of the Kyrgyz people.
