Hosny Mubarak is the current President of Egypt. He was born in the governorate of Al-Menoufiyah. Hosny Mubarak was made the President of Arab Republic in the year 1981. In the same year, he was also made the Chairman of the National Democratic Party.
Mubarak completed his Bachelor Degree in Military Sciences from Egyptian Military Academy. Later he also completed his Bachelor's degree in Aviation Sciences from Air Force Academy. He was appointed to many prestigious positions in Air Force and Military of Egypt.
After Hosny Mubarak started his career in politics, he was re-elected by the people of Egypt in 1987, 1993 and in 1999. As the Chairman of Organizations of African Unity, Hosny Mubarak was elected for two times. He also received a number of awards. In 1983, he received Armour of the "Man of Peace" and the next year, he was awarded with the "Personality of the Year" prize. In the following year, he achieved the "Man of the Year 1984". Other than the several prizes he won in his lifetime, there are many medals too that confirm his worth as a leader. UN Prize of Population, won in 1994, is one of the significant medals.
Besides many international prizes, Hosny Mubarak, President of Egypt was honored with many national awards. These awards include Military and Civilian Decorations given by the government of Egypt.
