Huron Manistee National Forest Map

It has come up as a hotspot for campers, hikers, and outdoor activities enthusiasts. Officially, this forest is called Huron-Manistee National Forest because Huron National Forest was combined administratively with the Manistee National Forest in 1945.

Headquartered in the US state of Michigan’s Cadillac city, the forest offers recreation opportunities (motorised and non-motorised) for visitors, resources for local industry, and a habitat for wildlife and fish all year round. You’ll find the most popular campgrounds and hiking trails around Pere Marquette, Au Sable, Manistee, and Pine rivers (four nationally designated Wild and Scenic Rivers).
