Egypt-land and people give an overview of the human statistics and the topographical features of the entire nation. Egypt is situated in the Northern part of Africa. It comprises the Sinai Peninsula that is considered to be a part of Southwestern Asia.
Egyptian shorelines run across the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. The western part of this African country shares its border with Libya, Sudan in the south and the Israel and the Gaza Strip to the east. Egypt approximately covers 1,001,449 square kilometers of land. The natural boundaries of Egypt comprise over 2,900 kilometers of coastline that run along the Gulf of Suez, the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba and Red Sea.
Egypt land is mostly covered by the desert area and its topographical history constitutes of four major physical territories including the Nile Valley and the Delta, the Eastern and the Western Desert and the Sinai Peninsula.
On the other hand, the civilization of the ancient Egypt is assumed to be the oldest civilization of the world and here the lifestyle of the people is highly dependent on the Egyptian land feature. Most of the inhabitants of this place are hardy.
While talking about the Egypt-land and people, it should also be mentioned that the majority of the population resides in the Nile valley and delta, whereas the rest of the country is less populated.
