The Rwanda executive branch is an important part of the administrative division of the state, of Rwanda. The President of Rwanda is the head of the Rwanda executive branch. All the important decisions are taken by the Rwanda executive branch. The head of the executive branch of Rwanda is elected by the people for a period of seven years.
All the members of the Parliament are nominated by the President being the head of the executive branch of Rwanda. He also nominates the Prime Minister. All the important decisions of the government are taken by the head of the executive branch of Rwanda. The ministers of the executive branch at Rwanda are nominated by the President after consulting with the leaders of the political party present in the government. The council of ministers and other ministers are all appointed by the President. Paul Kagame is the present President and the head of the Rwanda executive branch.
The Prime Minister is also an important part of Rwanda executive branch. The Prime Minister as the head of the Parliament is next to the position of President. All the decisions are taken by the Prime Minister in the absence of the President. The documents are counter sign by the Prime Minister on the behalf of the President. In all the matters and before taking any decisions the Prime Minister consults the head of Rwanda executive branch. All the assigned duties are then distributed amongst the Cabinet ministers in the executive branch of Rwanda. In the absence of the head of the executive branch, the Prime Minister can convoke any meeting.
