Fiji People are originally dark skinned races of Melanesian origin and they are mainly dominant in the western Islands and comprises of half the population of Fiji. Eastern Islands on the other hand has a large number of Polynesians and these two races form the main portion of Fiji People. Other small races include the Indians, Chinese, Europeans and Micronesians. The native population of Fiji is the followers of the Christianity.
People of Fiji are very warm hearted and that may be the other reason for Fiji to be such a beautiful country. The children of Fiji are well behaved and socially very cultured and they are the matter of pride to the Fiji people. Women play a major role in Fiji society. The government of Fiji is putting great effort and chalking out plans for including women in the mainstream of society as women also contributes a lot to the Fiji Culture.
