The banknotes, that are available in Comoros, are in the denominations of KMF10,000, KMF5,000, KMF2,500, KMF1,000 and KMF500. The coins are also circulated in Comoros. The coins in Comoros come in the denominations of KMF20, KMF10, KMF5, KMF2, KMF1 and 20 centimes. The Euro has a tie-up with the Comoros Franc. The Comoros Franc makes a part of the French Monetary Area. The European tourists can pay through Euros in a few tourist establishments in Comoros.
