Basketball in Cameroon

Basketball in Cameroon is one of the popular sports in the country. From the domestic grounds, Cameroon basketball has reached the international arena after going through a long journey. The progress of basketball in Cameroon has been substantial and remarkable.

The basketball teams of Cameroon have shown their expertise in a number of national and international leagues and championships. The Ministry of Sports and Physical Education of Cameroon has taken up the responsibility of promoting and improving basketball in Cameroon. For this purpose, the Cameroon Basketball Federation was set up. The main objective of the federation is to develop and improve basketball in Cameroon.
