The city of Asahi in Japan is located in the Kanto region. Asahi falls under the Chiba prefecture which is an integral part of the Honshu Island. Asahi gained an official status of a city in the middle of 1954 and experienced considerable expansion in 2005 three new towns got merged with the city of Asahi.
After this expansion the address was changed to New Asahi. This Japanese city is very near to Tokyo and as it is on the same island it provides shelter to many employers of Tokyo.

The city of Asahi is vibrant and versatile with numerous theaters and museums. The invigorating nightlife of the city is enjoyed by the teenagers. The living standards in Asahi is modest than the rest of Japan and prices of things are comparatively low. The citizens of Asahi have a gala time in the Fukuro Koen Park which is located in the city centre. The unique looking emblem of the Asahi city was adopted in 2005. The official emblem of the Japanese city is a design made of sea green and dark blue colors.

The flag signifies the morning sun in aspiration of the radiant growth of the city of Asahi . The flag was selected from the numerous flags which came to the city administration after a competition.

The Asahi city is in full glow and color during the Tanabata Citizen's festival and planning a trip to Asahi during this time is recommended. The golf courses in Asahi are a main source of entertainment for the citizens.
